We are happy to announce another small content release v1.6.6.

With this content release we have added two new challenges, “Preventative Protection: Thwarting the Imminent Threat” & “Operations Gone Wrong: The Incompetent Intern”. However, the real story of this release is what is coincides with on the Webportal side. Today the Webportal is at feature parity and beyond with the Player-Terminal. The Player-Terminal official has it’s days numbered from here on out. In this release the Webportal has seen the addition of the following features…

  • Challenge Deployment from the Pod Page

We are very excited to finally be releasing these features and hope to see them being tested/used as soon as possible.

Minor Content Updates & Bug Fix Release v1.6.5 is LIVE

We are pleased to announce our latest content release v1.6.5.

This content release adds one new challenge, “Data Mining & Data Warehousing”, to the Operate & Maintain Environment within the Database Administrator Work Role. It also adds an additional complexity to a currently released challenge, “A Database Story: Backup then Recovery”. Along with content additions there was a handful of updates and fixes to the current challenge catalog and Operate & Maintain Environment.

This content release coincided with an update to the Webportal which is the beginning of the end of the Player-Terminal. In this release we have provided the functionality of the Work Order System, that has previously been only available within the Player-Terminal, within the Webportal Pod page. In upcoming releases we will continue this trend of moving Player-Terminal functionality over to the Webportal.
